Ben is absolutely INCREDIBLE!! From the moment we even enquired with him he was open, honest and most importantly, easy going. Having film photography at our wedding was really important to us and Ben was able to provide both digital and film photography which meant we got the best of both worlds without committing to just one. Ben helped us create a bespoke package that had everything we wanted in for a very reasonable price. We had a pre wedding conversation where we met him in person and got to discuss what we wanted / how our day would run. This was nice because then come the wedding day I felt like I already knew him! Ben was super chill with my flurry of requests and let me send him my Pinterest board.

On the day - FABULOUS! It was like having a life long mate at your wedding, yet equally professional! He offered to pick up any last minute bits we needed on the way to us, then joined in the flow of the day. This was super important to me to not feel like I had someone uber formal in the room who didn’t interact. I wanted someone I could happily relax around and Ben was just that.

He didn’t once question my terrible wedding morning playlist and instead offered songs that completely matched the vibe. Ben sourced an amazing second photographer that matched our vision and they both worked flawlessly together - my husband is awkward in front of the camera but he made us so relaxed we forgot we were even getting our photos taken.

At one point during our day, my husband and I left our wedding meal to go play some games, without a word, Ben jumped up from his lunch and snapped some shots of us having fun! Little things that show he goes above and beyond. Honestly, I cannot recommend him enough!! And if you have made it all the way through my essay of a review - well done! - it’s not enough to encompass how fab Ben is!

After our wedding, Ben and I have stayed in touch and he has been lovely in offering advice when I wanted to buy a camera and chat about all things film! 🎞️ Cheers for the photos and the laughs!!! 📸 I would definitely use Ben’s services again!!

Where do we even start? Choosing a wedding photographer felt like an impossible task. I was very particular about what style I wanted for our photos and finding a photographer that matched it and was available for our date just didn’t look like it was going to happen.

Then I stumbled across Ben on instagram. From our first video call, I knew Ben was a great match for us. I knew he’d slot into the day seamlessly and he really did. It honestly felt like having a friend taking our photos - he made everyone feel at ease - including my husband who doesn’t love having his photo taken.

Ben was such a fun, calming presence, he made me feel so comfortable from the very beginning, like I could just be myself in front of the camera. It honestly felt like having a good friend there with us (and now he totally is one!). He brought so much good energy, helped keep things relaxed, and made the whole experience feel really special.

Alex was fantastic too quietly capturing so many moments and working so smoothly alongside Ben. Together, they made an awesome team.

From the sneak peeks we’ve seen so far we have been blown away, I honestly couldn’t have wished for better photos I can’t begin to contemplate what is to come next with our full gallery. We know the photos are going to be absolutely out of this world. But beyond that, I’m just so grateful we had them with us on such an important day. Couldn’t have asked for better people to capture it all. Highly, highly recommend Ben!!!

Our guests even noticed how personable and friendly he was! When he took us aside for our couple’s shots, it never felt staged, it was just a genuine, intimate moment, and he captured it perfectly. That time with Ben actually ended up being one of the highlights of our day. He was there like a mate, making us laugh and helping us soak in the moment.

We first met Ben when he photographed my best friends wedding (turns out he was a mutual friend as they worked together too) and we both said afterwards how great he was! When we got engaged we knew we wanted him for our wedding!

On the day he was AMAZING, we really couldn't recommend him anymore, professional, friendly, made everyone laugh and captured our day exactly how we wanted, plus he made me and Tom feel so relaxed especially as the day went on and more drinks were had!!

We knew he would capture our tipi wedding in the peak district perfectly and the pictures from golden hour are something else! It was the hottest day of the year and this didn't put him off!

What can we say about Ben, he really is a great guy and amazing photographer! When looking for a photographer for our wedding we really wanted someone who would capture those invaluable in the moment photos and that is exactly what we got! Unless it is your standard ‘say cheese’ photo we have absolutely no idea what we’re doing in-front of the camera but Ben made us feel super comfortable from the get go and the photos he got are incredible.
