FAQ

  • Where are you based?

I am based in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, however I shoot all over the UK as well as further afield. My photography has taken me to St. Andrew’s in Scotland, London and as far south as the Isle of Wight. I’ve also been fortunate to shoot in Spain and Italy on multiple occasions, too.

  • What's included?

All of my services include travel, accommodation and a couple of rolls of 35mm film. This includes development, scanning and delivery, too. As soon as you’ve enquired, you’ll receive a brochure giving a comprehensive breakdown of what else I offer.

  • Can we meet before the wedding

Absolutely. Meeting face-to-face or over a call is always important! Our meetings are important, not only in helping with timelines, easing any worries, but just to ensure that we are all on the same page. Communication is key for the process.

  • Do you shoot registry offices/half day coverage?

Yes and yes! Couples who are having a multi-day wedding or who are getting married legally beforehand can get in touch, share their plans and I can provide a specific and bespoke service for your needs.

  • Do you offer full days on film?

Absolutely. I love shooting film and it’s such a fun way to capture the day. I tend to shoot upwards of 25+ rolls on a full day analogue and that’s a mixture of 35mm and medium format (120).

  • What cameras are you shooting on?

A real mix and each camera serves its own purpose. For digital I use a couple of Sony A7IV’s with a mix of lenses, both modern and adapted vintage. For film I have a few cameras that I use for different scenarios. A Leica M7, Canon EOS, Yashica and Pentax for more Medium Format work. All my film cameras have a backup too.

  • We are nervous about getting our photos taken, what's you approach?

For most of the day, I’d say I’m about 85% candid and documentary. People are awesome and naturally do things that are cool. There may be the odd time where there’s a cool spot, a cool patch of light and I will warmly direct people to this. For the other 15%, portraits and groups, it’s about being organised, mood boarding and sharing with you both what we are aiming for. Portrait sessions are quick, 15 minutes in the day and keeping you both moving and talking is key! My aim is to maximise your time with your wedding and the people you love.

  • Can we see full galleries?

110% yes. As soon as you enquire, I send a couple of galleries that I feel fit your vibe and you can make a more informed decision. From there, we can hop on a call just to make sure we are the correct fit for one another.

  • How much do couples typically spend?

For most of my couples, their average spend is around £2850.
